Dr. Ingrid A. Mercedes is a highly skilled and board-certified wound specialist physician with extensive experience in both primary care and wound management. She joined IMA Medical Group in 2024, bringing with her a wealth of knowledge in neurosurgery ER patient care, general practice, and specialized wound care.  

Dr. Mercedes earned her medical degree with honors from the Technologic Institute of Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic, followed by a distinguished residency in pediatrics at the Hospital Infantil Regional Universitario Dr. Arturo Grullón.  

Her expertise extends beyond clinical practice; Dr. Mercedes is also an accomplished speaker, having presented on topics related to nutrition and wound healing at numerous international conferences. She holds multiple certifications, including as a Certified Specialist in Poison Information and Acupuncture, and has been an active educator and instructor in the medical community.

Fluent in English and Spanish, Dr. Mercedes is committed to providing compassionate care to her patients while continuing her contributions to medical education and research.
