Karen Torres, DNP, FNP-C, joined IMA Medical Group(IMA) in 2025 as a family nurse practitioner. She is a dedicated and bilingualprovider committed to delivering compassionate and patient-centered care.
Karen earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice andMaster of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner, from Ana G. MéndezUniversity in Orlando, Florida. She began her nursing career with a Bachelor ofScience in Nursing from Universidad Metropolitana in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico.
Before joining IMA, Karen gained extensiveexperience working in a variety of healthcare settings, including primary care,hospice, rehabilitation, and hospital-based care. She has also served as anurse practitioner instructor, training future providers in patient assessment,treatment, and preventive care.
Fluent in English and Spanish, Karen is passionateabout building strong relationships with her patients, promoting preventivemedicine, and ensuring quality healthcare for the communities she serves.
