Arnaldo R. Quinones, MD, joined IMA Medical Group (IMA) in 2026 as an Internal Medicine Physician. With over 30 years of experience in internal medicine and primary care, he is a proven leader and dedicated provider focused on delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to adults and senior populations.

Before joining IMA, Dr. Quinones served as an Internal Medicine Physician in Orlando and held an academic appointment as an Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine at the University of Central Florida. His extensive background includes 15 years in private practice in San Juan, Puerto Rico, where he provided primary care to elderly patients in the Medicare Advantage program.

Additionally, he has held significant leadership and research roles, including serving as a Medical Officer for the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and as a Major in the U.S. Air Force, where he was the Assistant Chief of Hematology at Keesler Medical Center.

Dr. Quinones earned his Doctor in Medicine from the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Eastern Virginia Graduate Medical School and a fellowship in Hematology at Washington Hospital Center. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and licensed in Florida, Washington, D.C., and Puerto Rico. Fluent in both English and Spanish.
