Dr. Gilberto De Miranda Aquino joined IMA Medical Group (IMA) in 2026 as a Primary Care Physician. With over 30 years of experience in the medical field, he is a seasoned professional dedicated to providing comprehensive care and clinical excellence to his patients.

Before joining IMA, Dr. De Miranda held several key positions, including serving as a Primary Care Physician in Hollywood and Kissimmee. His extensive background is anchored by nearly two decades of service as an Emergency Room Department Physician at Metro Pavia Hospital Santurce and various other medical centers throughout Puerto Rico. Additionally, he has demonstrated strong leadership skills through his roles as an Assistant Medical Director for Urgent Care and a Medical Director for Emergency Room Departments and Hospice services.

Dr. De Miranda earned his Doctor in Medicine from Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara in Mexico and holds a Bachelor of Arts and Sciences in Biology from Saint Louis University. He is licensed in Florida and Puerto Rico and maintains certifications in ACLS, PALS, and ATLS. Fluent in both English and Spanish, Dr. De Miranda is recognized for his vast experience in emergency medicine, preventive care, and chronic disease management.
