Dr. Erika De La Barra joined IMA Medical Group (IMA) in 2026 as a primary care physician, bringing experience in outpatient family medicine. She is dedicated to delivering patient-centered, evidence-based care with a focus on preventive health, chronic disease management, and long-term wellness.

Before joining IMA, Dr. De La Barra worked in primary care practices across Florida and served as a general practitioner in Puerto Rico. There, she gained extensive experience managing both acute and chronic conditions while promoting preventive care and healthy lifestyle habits.

Dr. De La Barra earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from St. Matthew’s University School of Medicine and completed her internship at Buen Samaritano Hospital in Puerto Rico. She is fluent in English and Spanish and is known for her compassionate approach, strong clinical judgment, and commitment to improving patient outcomes.
